Symantec, Microsoft bundle pcAnywhere32 with NT Workstation

  Symantec Corp. and Microsoft Corp. have integrated the pcAnywhere32 remote access tool with Windows NT Workstation in a bundle that is being shipped by distributor Tech Data Corp., officials of the two companies said today.

The bundle is available immediately to VARs and retailers, the companies said. Exact pricing was not announced.

Symantec's pcAnywhere32 for Windows NT and Windows 95 enables remote access via modems, networks or the Internet for checking E-mail, supporting clients, downloading files or running applications. VARs and retailers can order the NT bundle by calling Tech Data at (800) 237-8931.
