JetForm to disclose integration plan for Delrina technology
By Maria Seminerio

Electronic forms developer JetForm Corp. will announce Monday plans for integrating its newly acquired Delrina workflow technology into its existing JetForm product line.

"The ultimate goal of unifying the two products will be to create an electronic forms and workflow powerhouse that will be more than either Delrina or JetForm could have created independently," said Phil Weaver, executive vice president at JetForm, in Ottawa.

The plan calls for the creation of a new integrated product line, which will contain workflow tools and electronic forms from both previous product lines, within the next 18 months. During the first quarter of 1997, Delrina's FormFlow 2.1 will be integrated with JetForm Central, enabling users to E-mail, fax and print from JetForm Central, company officials said.

By the second quarter of next year, elements of FormFlow (including FormBasic and a simplified user interface) will be incorporated into the JetForm line, company officials said.

This week, JetForm announced it had signed an OEM agreement with IBM for IBM's Footprint Visual Banker retail banking applications.
