Financial information service now available to Prodigy Internet users

  PC Financial Network, a service of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's online brokerage network, today debuted on Prodigy Services Co.'s Prodigy Internet commercial online service.

Prodigy Internet users can access financial news, stock quotes, investment databases and market research through PC Financial Network, officials of the two companies said. The service also features online stock and mutual fund trading.

Since its inception in 1988, PC Financial Network has executed more than 2.5 million transactions, representing more than $14 billion in online customer assets, DLJ officials said.

DLJ is headquartered in New York. Prodigy is based in White Plains, N.Y.
