E*Trade launches investment service with InvesTools
By Maria Seminerio

Online financial services company E*Trade Group Inc. today announced a partnership with InvesTools Inc., an investment research company, to provide financial research services on the E*Trade Web site (www.etrade.com/).

The deal will give E*Trade customers online access to publications including Standard & Poor's Stock Reports, Zacks Investment Research, John Dessauer's Investor's World and The Prudent Speculator, according to InvesTools President Laird Foshay.

The reports will be delivered on a pay-per-view basis at a fraction of print subscription prices, Foshay said.

E*Trade customers can browse the publications separately or search InvesTools' entire research database by company names or ticker symbols, said Rebecca Patton, senior vice president of marketing at E*Trade, in Palo Alto, Calif.

E*Trade also offers customers the ability to create personalized investment Web pages, portfolio management features and online trades starting at $14.95.

InvesTools is based in Menlo Park, Calif.
